Christmas/Christmas Program '09

We played our program at the Nursing Home Saturday.

Our Christmas celebration was held at Grandpa's and Grandma's place on Christmas Eve.
We all had a very enjoyable time.
We then celebrated Christmas day with sleep, food, (a lazy day) and then joined the Reed family and a few others for fellowship in the evening.

As always the very center of attention.

Maybe you'll get captions later. Probably not. Time is precious you see. :D

Caroling & Birthdays

Saturday evening some of our church group and a few others went out Christmas caroling and then came back for the famous hobo stew and cider. We all had a wonderful and time and to kick it off we ended with a fantabulous snowball fight.

15 passenger vans and ice don't go very well together. Or so Bret found out.

However Divine Providence had it arranged so that there was a whole slew of young men/boys in that van to get out and push, and a few heavy set women folk to sit over the tires for traction. :D

Monday we celebrated Daddy's and Hannah's birthdays.

Thanksgiving #1 - With the Whalen Family

As always, the pix are backwards. :)
A week before traditional Thanksgiving, the Whalen family (cousins) came out from PA and joined us for a un-traditional Thanksgiving dinner.

Ahhhh! :)

"It's rude to take pictures of people while they're eating!"

Talk about popular!
That is - the little pink piglet.

Picture's worth a thousand words!
I sympathize with you Levi. I felt the same way!

Told you she was!

An attempt at Mennonite Madness

This one doesn't need a caption. You can just laugh.

Preparations

Hoping for a hot meal!

The boys enjoyed chatting. lol

Games were much appreciated on that very cold and rainy day!

Of late...

Some shots of Jubilee and Titus that I got last night.

On my way into the house I came across...
Sat, Josiah picked up the wheelchair and motor at the Buckley auction. He's talked about this same contraption for a while now. I guess I just didn't realize exactly how um. er. real it was!
Timothy hopped in for a little added ?

Friday Hannah, Bethany and I went on a ride up to Brier hill. With the exception of it being super cold, it was enjoyable!
At the top - in the sun - stuffing the mouth.
So were a few others.

When we got back we took a few pix.

JoAnna and Titus got to help Hannah and Tony for a while on Sat.
Makin' cookies.
